• HACIENDA INN
What probably started out as the home of the Hobson Family during the years of the Civil War, became the home of the McPeak Family about 1871 when they bought the Hobson's land. In 1926, the property was bought by William Smith of Rio Nido to develop into a full fledged resort. He added a restaurant and a bar to the house and created The Hacienda Inn as a club house for the golf course he built. After time, Skip Orsi started running things and the place was renamed Skippy's.
